The Wilder Foot Races will take place in SE Minnesota for the first time on May 19 & 20th of 2012. The 30km, 50km, and 100km gravel road foot races begin in Spring Valley in association with the Almanzo bicycle races.
The Abel, The James, and The Perley are FREE, SELF-SUPPORTED, GRAVEL foot races. They were developed through discussion with Chris Skogen the creater of The Almanzo. Wilder Foot Races is something that will try and bring you back to what running should be; free, simple, un-supported, adventurous, and arduous. Most of all they should remind you of your natural love to run.
We hope you train hard and train for fun to compete in these truly Minnesotan foot races designed with the Wilder family and Spring Valley, Minnesota in mind.
